About the event
Spring rain always brings out the mushrooms! Search for wild mushrooms and learn general classifications and identifying characteristics. Dale Johnson, who has been exploring the woods for wild mushrooms for over 25 years, will be leading this spring mushroom foraging expedition. Bring your bearspray and a basket to collect mushrooms. Guidebooks will be provided for hands on identification.
We will meet at the Swift Creek Trailhead at 5:30 p.m.
This program is free and family friendly! We know committing to plans can be difficult--your RSVP is appreciated but not required. When you RSVP, be sure to do so for each member of your party and cancel if you change plans.
