Whitefish Legacy Partners is currently hiring for the following part-time positions.
Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator (DC) will plan and lead WLP’s established community fundraising events including but not limited to the Hit the Trail Challenge (May), The Whitefish Trail Hootenanny (August), and the Whitefish Trail Legacy Run (October). The DC will also assist the Director of Development to seek new donations and sponsorships, write grants, plan and execute direct mailings and newsletters, process donations, and write donor thank you notes.
This is a regular part-time position averaging ~15 hrs/week. The schedule is somewhat flexible, but ideally, the DC will work the same schedule each week. The DC must also be available during predetermined event dates.
Whitefish Trail Coordinator
The Trail Coordinator (TC) will plan and carry out trail maintenance projects on the 42-mile Whitefish Trail. The TC must be able to work independently to assess trail maintenance needs, perform required work, and to supervise volunteers. When new trail construction projects are underway the TC may work with contracted trail builders. For the right candidate there are also opportunities for the TC to assist with nonprofit administration and fundraising duties.
This is a part-time seasonal position @ ~20 hours/week mid-May through mid-October
